maker vs actorOne of the most unique aspect of out mockumentary was being the crew and the cast! The main actors in the film were the makers of the film. This helped us shape our character portrayal to what we wanted it to be!
some difficultiesOne of the problems that has troubled us is the camera angle. Since none of us has profound experience of film shooting, sometimes it is hard for us to determine whether we should keep the camera static or move and stretch the lens more. On the one hand, we want our work appears to be more causal and let our viewers feel a sense of realism, but on the other hand, we also want to ensure the quality and observability of our movie, since it may hinder the viewers and reduce their appreciation and enjoyment if the shooting is too casual.

Behind the sceneMost of the film was shot on spot without any scripting. This technique of filming allowed us to elicit realism in all or scenes and shots. Our goal was script-less mockumentary that will essentially capture what we think about each scenes based on what we have been through in college dorms. However, having said this, we had a lot of planning regarding the sequence of shoots, time-line , actors and meeting timings.
what we have learntGenerally, we all feel satisfied about what we have done. Started from organizing and planning, we have really spent our energy and time onto it. Through this project, we not only have learnt the basic techniques of film shooting and script writing, but also the essential abilities of analyzing the situation and figuring out solutions, and I believe this gaining of capacity is more important than simply acquiring knowledge, and it will be important for us even in the long run.
